Carry on baggage

 

Each passenger is permitted to board an aircraft with one carry-on bag (maximum weight: 7 kg) and one additional personal item (handbag, camera, digital device, etc.). Items combined should not exceed the following dimensions: 50 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm (maximum total: 115 cm). These limits include the presence of duty-free goods purchased after check-in. Any items which exceed weight or size restrictions will have to be checked and fees will apply. Screening of excess carry-on baggage will be performed at the boarding gate to prevent excessive overhead bin loading. Fees for excess baggage will be charged according to airport regulations. Please arrive at the boarding gate at least 1 hour before departure time to prevent any delays.

 

Liquids, aerosols and gels

 

Many countries impose strict restrictions on the carriage of liquids, aerosols and gels in the cabin. You are advised to heed these restrictions. Improperly stored substances will be confiscated by the authorities.

Liquids, aerosols and gels must be stored in containers with a capacity of 100 ml or less.
Containers must be presented at security in a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag, the capacity of which must not to exceed 1 litre.
The plastic bag must be presented to security screeners separate from other baggage.

 

Lithium-ion batteries

 

Small Lithium-ion batteries such as those used in mobile phones, cameras, watches, portable music players and laptop computers are allowed (within the devices) in carry-on baggage.

 

Loose batteries:


You may carry a maximum of 4 batteries with a total storage capacity of 100 WH without obtaining approval from the airline.
You must request approval from the airline if you seek to carry Lithium-ion batteries with a total storage capacity of between 100 WH and 160 WH. (2 batteries per passenger. Please contact our call centre).
Lithium-ion batteries with a storage capacity which exceeds 160 WH are permitted.
